Senior Collage prints

I have had a few questions regarding our collage prints (also known as composites) which are included in almost all of THG's senior sets.  Basically, a composite is a designed page of several images printed on a single sheet. Let's face it, often one image is just not enough (kind of like potato chips!).   Sometimes text is added, other times just the images stand best alone. Each is custom designed, but we do categorize them into small (10x10, 8x16), medium (20x20, 16x20) and large (30x30, 30x40).  Below are a few examples--feel free to let me know what you think of them!

Rilla

Meet Rilla! Here are some captures from a pleasant afternoon in the company of she and her wonderful parents! This wasn't a formal shoot, matter of fact we were hosting a garage sale together, and Rilla was just sharing so much of her exuberant personality I just had to get out the camera and catch a bit of it!

I think that she will become a lady who can sport some 'tude!

Raiders v. Bronchos

Well, the first half of the game was all a Raider fan could ask for and they headed into the locker room with a lead.  Unfortunately for the Harrison team, Desmond Lake of Jeff had the game of his life (5 touchdowns!) and the Raiders came up short 30-37.

Still, lots of great action on the field!

I just had to catch one of the Raider reserve players' reaction of disbelief as the final seconds ticked off...

Go get 'em next week, Raiders!

HHS Raiders v. Jeff

Yup!  It was another rockin' Friday evening on the football field.  This time the Raiders went face-to-face with the Lafayette Jefferson Bronchos.  Stay tuned for more pix and to see how things shook out...

Cross Country

Wow!  Tonight I experienced first-hand a "sport within a sport"--watching a cross country meet.  You don't just have to be an athlete to participate in the meet, you have to be a runner to watch it!  I was found amidst many dashing from spot to spot, across fields and up and down rather steep hillsides, to catch a glimpse of the participants as they sped by!   And, boy oh boy, were these high school cross countriers (is there another term for those who run ungodly long distances through anything-but-smooth terrain?) impressive.  But if there is one thing that might truly have stolen my heart toward this sport it's the shoes--yeah, in what other athletic event can each participant wear personality-specific footwear!  Congratulations, Raider Cross Country teams--you rock! (additional photos from this event are posted on canonfire.shutterfly.com)

Forked!

We've been forked!  Yes, our introduction to a new form of teenage pranking--"forking"--where he/she/they line the yard, or in this case our rather lengthy driveway, with plastic cutlery.  Too funny!  And way less messy than t.p.ing! What is really impressive is that the 'culprits' pulled this off while we were home.  The crowning touch--the fork left square in the middle of the front doormat!  Hats off!
