Anyone who knows me knows that my love for photography grew exponentially when I discovered that I could take my camera to the ballgame--and especially when the coaches let me join the team on the sidelines! Well, the school year has begun and for all the whining and hassles that go with that (Tim, my third grader, tells me every morning that he is "smart enough" and shouldn't have to go to school) so does the excitment of high school athletics.
Here are a few shots from last night's season opener at Harrison High School where the Raiders took on the Shamrocks from Westfield. Oh, by the way, the Raiders won! (for those who know recent Raider football history, this was a BIG deal!).
Who let this guy in?! Is that standard press corp dress?! (actually, that is the very talent Alex Bohs on assignment for the Harrison yearbook)
Some times the best shots are of the "wrong" team....
This is my beautiful daughter Morgan who has just begun her final year at Harrison and is approaching her senior year with serious enthusiasm!
The Raider Marching band (including my sophomore son John on the drumline). After performing on the field at half-time, they kept the stands rocking all the way to 0:00!
