Ben -- Senior 09 -- Coffee table book

Here at THG, I love working images into coffee table books and albums -- this way the family has every finished image from a session without having to add on to the house to create enough wall space for display!  And no  more losing the loose images in a drawer where they get stashed until someone can get around to framing or archiving them.  (Let's face it, anyone with a high school senior is busy enough without making image display burdensome!).

Here is a book I put together today for Ben (all except the final pages, as the video storage is just shy of enough).

Let me know what you think:

Brad '09 -- Sneak Peek!

Wow!  It's been awhile, but I am back in the swing of things here at THG Photography!

First up, Brad a tremendous senior student out at Harrison.  Brad wins the "Icicle Award" for braving the low temps of an Indiana winter to get out and get a few shots in his handsome letter jacket (Raider football player, yeah!).

I have had several people ask me about my packages over the past couple days.  Here they are, the Senior Sets for the Class of '09!  (double click on image to enlarge)

Ashlee

Close your eyes and imagine with me for a minute....(oh, I guess the closed eyes would prohibit you from reading the rest of this, so forget the eye closing, just roll with me here).   If I were to say "top-notch softball catcher", what would you think that girl would look like?  Well, I am about to blow 99.9% of you out of the water! This week I got to work with Ashlee who happens to be the varsity catcher for Harrison Raiders.  This lady is not only an outstanding athlete, but just down-right gorgeous to boot.

We had so much fun!  Ashlee,  her awesome mom Laura, her too cute for words boyfriend Matt and myself wondered the streets of the Chauncey Hill area here in West Lafayette and stopped in a variety of spots.  A special shout out of thanks goes to The Love Shack for allowing us to use their facilities as a changing room!

Here's a few of my favorites from my first '09 senior shoot!

Nicole in print!

Nicole rocks!  We met three times throughout her senior year to capture her amidst all the seasons.  I also had the privilege of shooting as she and the Harrison Raiders volleyball team captured the sectional title (boy, was that a barn burner!).  Putting that all together, I came up with the following image collection coffee table book (enjoy!):  (click the arrow to watch the slide show).

"Sneak Peek" -- Nicole

Well, spring has finally sprung here in ol' Lafayette and that gave me and Nicole the chance to get out and take a few shots of her out in the sunshine!  She was a great sport ~ even hanging out of a barn window for awhile!

Daniel

YIPPEE!!

Yup, that was pretty much how I felt about the privilege of taking these senior photos!

A warm, sunny spring afternoon + a camera + a gorgeous young man who was game to put up with me for hours = "it doesn't get any better than this!" (I love my job!) Sunday afternoon found Daniel and I, along with his very cool parents Elizabeth & John, his too cute girlfriend and his dog Boomer,  tromping around Tapawaingo Park, the walking bridge and train depot in Lafayette.  What a sport Daniel was!

Big thanks to Brenda at Appointed Design (www.appointeddesign.com) for her work on this set!

Here's a few of my favs so far:

Last Call: 2008 Seniors

It's not too late!  I know that it is almost spring break--then graduation is just around the corner--but there is still time to get your senior portraits done!  THG can even create custom announcements for your open house or celebration!

Here's a couple of the fabulous seniors who have allowed us to capture them in images this year (to see more go to the senior's gallery on www.thgphotography.com):
