A fight to the finish ~ Raiders v. Mavs

First, congratulations to the JV Raiders for their 5-2 victory over the Mavericks!  You guys are coming on strong!  

Now for the varsity match-up:  for those who came out expecting a drawn out dog-fight game--they were not disappointed.  For that matter, everyone received two games for the price of one as the Mavs and Raiders battled it out for 14 full innings!  In the end, Harrison blinked and the ladies of McCutcheon were victorious 1-0.  Congratulations to one and all!  Here's some shots from the sidelines:

YIPPEE!!

Yup, that was pretty much how I felt about the privilege of taking these senior photos!

A warm, sunny spring afternoon + a camera + a gorgeous young man who was game to put up with me for hours = "it doesn't get any better than this!" (I love my job!) Sunday afternoon found Daniel and I, along with his very cool parents Elizabeth & John, his too cute girlfriend and his dog Boomer,  tromping around Tapawaingo Park, the walking bridge and train depot in Lafayette.  What a sport Daniel was!

Three more Raider victories

Last night the Raiders won a hard-fought battle against the Bronchos of Lafayette Jeff and today they were on the winning end of both games of a double header with South Bend Clay.

Yes, baby, that makes it 4-0!  Not only undefeated, but the Harrison softball team has yet to be scored upon!

And not only has the Varsity team been hot, the JV is smokin', too!  Those ladies were handily victorious in both of their twofer today!

Congrats, ladies!  It's your time to shine!

Raider Up!!

Yes, it's here~softball season!  And the Harrison High School Lady Raiders started it off with a bang!  Last night they posted their first victory with a 9-0 win over the ladies of Logansport.  What a team effort it was--strong pitching, clean fielding and mighty bats all around.  Congratulations, Raiders!

Our house is filled with boys--boys to the core!  This afternoon our youngest Tim (in the black hood--heaven help us!) and his best buddy Wayne hammed it up so much that I just had to take a few quick shots! --j
