What are your digits?

Introducing "Digits by THG Photography"!

They're small, portable and keep people in touch as they go off to new places (college, the armed forces, work).

The size of a standard business card, Digits are a simple way to share your senior photos along with the information you want to pass on regarding your next stop in life.  Totally customized with your photos and 411.

Cross Country

Wow!  Tonight I experienced first-hand a "sport within a sport"--watching a cross country meet.  You don't just have to be an athlete to participate in the meet, you have to be a runner to watch it!  I was found amidst many dashing from spot to spot, across fields and up and down rather steep hillsides, to catch a glimpse of the participants as they sped by!   And, boy oh boy, were these high school cross countriers (is there another term for those who run ungodly long distances through anything-but-smooth terrain?) impressive.  But if there is one thing that might truly have stolen my heart toward this sport it's the shoes--yeah, in what other athletic event can each participant wear personality-specific footwear!  Congratulations, Raider Cross Country teams--you rock! Forked!

We've been forked!  Yes, our introduction to a new form of teenage pranking--"forking"--where he/she/they line the yard, or in this case our rather lengthy driveway, with plastic cutlery.  Too funny!  And way less messy than t.p.ing! What is really impressive is that the 'culprits' pulled this off while we were home.  The crowning touch--the fork left square in the middle of the front doormat!  Hats off!

Football Fever

Anyone who knows me knows that my love for photography grew exponentially when I discovered that I could take my camera to the ballgame--and especially when the coaches let me join the team on the sidelines!  Well, the school year has begun and for all the whining and hassles that go with that (Tim, my third grader, tells me every morning that he is "smart enough" and shouldn't have to go to school) so does the excitment of high school athletics.

Here are a few shots from last night's season opener at Harrison High School where the Raiders took on the Shamrocks from Westfield.  Oh, by the way, the Raiders won!  (for those who know recent Raider football history, this was a BIG deal!).

Who let this guy in?!  Is that standard press corp dress?!  (actually, that is the very talent Alex Bohs on assignment for the Harrison yearbook)

Some times the best shots are of the "wrong" team....

This is my beautiful daughter Morgan who has just begun her final year at Harrison and is approaching her senior year with serious enthusiasm!

The Raider Marching band (including my sophomore son John on the drumline).  After performing on the field at half-time, they kept the stands rocking all the way to 0:00!

Ashlee--Senior 09 Image Collection

Monday, August 4, 2008

With a new school year just about to start here in central Indiana, our senior collections are in full swing!  Several people have inquired regarding whether or not THG Photography does announcements or invitations...You bet your booty we do!  Each one is unique, created to highlight the personality of the senior.  Here's a few samples from last year's vault--take a peak!
